Grocery Shopping....

Yeap yeap.. I went to Tesco today to do some grocery shopping!! Actually, the things here are cheap if you don't convert them in Rm.. seriously.. ppl here can live a comfortable life by just earning 1800 pounds! unlike malaysia.. how can you survive by earning RM 1800???

From today onwards, gonna just makan bread for lunch.. cannot afford to eat nice food anymore.. too much dim sum for the weekends.. need to let the tummy and the pocket to rest a bit.. haha...

can't wait for this sun!! I'm going to Cheshire Oaks... that place is about 45 mins drive from manchester... basically is for shopping! cuz all the branded warehouse outlet are over there!! need to get warm clothing... is so cold now! can you believe yesterday temperature went down to 1 degree??!!!!! is just early autumn!! can't imagine how is it like in winter...

i think i'm much more better now compare to the first week... met quite a lot of malaysian! i think i have lost my British accent cuz i have been hanging around with the malaysian recently... all my "la" and "lo" has came back... well well... dunno whether is a good thing or a bad thing.. haha

anyway, yeap! thanks for all your prayers and support! esp my family! miss all of you!

Nightlife in Manchester..

Last week i get to experience the night life in Manchester!! well. basically is more like partying and drinking... haha.. back home we have mamak, here we only have alcohol.. that's the difference!

My first fishbowl! is kinda cool... everyone will suck the drink together!!
I went pubcrawl! which means we walk from bars to bars together in a big group.. this event is organised by the Chinese Society.. kinda nice..
our last stop is in M-two... my first club in Manchester.. it was not too bad because smokers are not allowed to smoke in the club!! haha... now you won't get smelly shirt and hair when you're back.. haha

He's Kee hong!! Malaysian guy.. very nice guy.. always ask me to makan in his house.. get to eat homecook food there!! yummy....
oh.. i went to the casino!! over here.. as long as you're above 18, you get to go in.. don't worry, i didn't gamble.. just went there to play mahjong.. and we get free sandwiched and drinks there!! kinda cool right?? entrance fee is also FOC... guess they are trying to encourage ppl tp gamble.. haha

yea.. that's pretty much of what I've done for the past week.. i'm still trying to adapt to the lifestyle here.. yea.. dad is right, i shouldn't look back so much.. look forward!! see what is God trying to do in my life!!

yeap.. class started dy.. first class wasn't very good.. i was struggling to understand what the lecturer has to say.. His voice is so soft and gentle!! i was trying very hard to catch his accent..

well well.. hope today's class won't be so bad.. oh ya! the books here is so expensive!! sigh.. no choice.. got to buy as well..

Homesick..

Guess the title explain everything!!

I'm actually homesick!! Gosh.. one week has passed but is like a month for me! can't wait for dec for Christmas!!

Really miss my family.. esp food!! I don't know whether can i take the English food for the next 3 months..

anyway, glad that i have connection in my room dy.. now i can skype!! finally get to talk to family without time limit and charges.. and thank God for mun yee and boss!! you guys cheered me up!!

Guess what, after i asked you guys to pray for christian friends, immediately during dinner time i met a girl studying Theology!! wonderful isn't it! and yesterday i joined their christian union meeting.. it was good to see christian around..

and guess what, when i was talking to mun yee on skype, she said i have british accent dy!! haha.. fast isn't it? maybe because there are really few Asean in my tower. so.. have to speak their accent with them..

yeap.. thank God the buch of second year malaysian student as well.. they are really kind! am gonna play badminton with them later at 4! yeap! good isn't it??

oh ya.. went jogging this morning in the park near my place.. it was good!! the weather is so good to jog..i felt so healthy!! hmm.. i'm really trying very hard not to put on weight!! haha

These are the second year student!! oh my gosh! their house is so so so nice!! but yea.. is about 110 pounds a week.. hmm.. plan to stay there in my second year!! and they are cooking for me!! wow.. i felt so at home..finally can eat home-cooked food.. yummy!

Check this out!! public toilet!! my friend actually went there to pee.. and well, to all my girlfriends.. you ca use that if you want cuz is unisex!! but you have to figure out yourself how you gonna do it!!

Finally.. Chinatown!! well, is not very big but good enough for me to buy chinese stuff.. well, is actually quite pricey too..

Here am I... in the foreign land!

Alright guys!! Finally i have internet connection in my room!! Thank God for it.. after all the running up and down to get the connection fixed!!

Oh no!! I miss home!!! really do... miss my family.. friends and so much more!!

sigh.. thought i actually can cope with the life here.. but well.. is hard to actually fit in to a total foreign place.. asp in the western countries cuz the ppl here are so different!! practically everyday they just party and drink!! is every night!!

Goodness! don't they have life?? or maybe is their culture.. so.. yea.. anyway, all my flat-mates are all "ang mo".. no ASEAN at all.. i think is my whole block there are no ASEAN.. pity yea? sigh.. well well.. hope God will turn this place to a better place..

Every night, the fire alarm will goes off!! i heard the highest record was 48 times in a night!!!!
but so far, i've expereinced it 3 times in a night.. is terrible enough!!! thanks to the drunk ppl who smoke.. horrible.. and i'm staying on the 15 floor.. so, can you imagine i have to run down the stairs?????? is RIDICULOUS!!

well, i guess i still have to look look see see... hope i can get settled down fast.. esp my bank account.. hope that i can settle that ASAP.. then everything would be good..

Thank God.. weather here is not too bad.. not much rain yet...

Family...

Family!!

They are the most important people in my life... they shared my happiness, sadness, anger, sorrows, fun, joy and so much more!!! can't imagine what my life would be without them..

Just had a farewell with my family and relatives.. wow... it was really good!!

My dad actually sob in that dinner.. he was really expressing his emotion that night!! i was really touched!! Tears just rolled down my cheek... Mum cried too!!

Now i can really feel the "leaving" emotion.. Nostalgic...

Can't imagine what will happen in the airport on Wed night.. would it be just a normal goodbye or a dramatic farewell?? only God knows..

Dear Lord Jesus,
I thank you that you put me in this wonderful family and I know there's no mistake that I'm here.. and i know i have a purpose in this place.. Father, I pray that one day each and every one of them will come to know you personally and accept you as their Saviour! Even as i'm not in M'sia..i pray that You will watch over them and keep them safe.. Send Christians friends into their lives! Lord, once again i wanna thank you.. thanks for all your blessings in my life esp my family.. In Jesus name.. AMEN.

CG Gathering..

Thanks to Hai Yen!!! We had our CG gathering at her place!! yeap yeap.. we really had a great time together!! How I wish we can have more gathering like this..

Food was good!! We had steamboat, grill beef.. etc etc...

Drinks was good too!! We had absolute Vodka!! yummy.. and Bacardi.. and some peppermint liquer... oh ya.. i brought wine too!! however, no one was drunk! haha

Well well.. gonna miss this bunch of ppl!! tho i've been in this church for about 2 years.. they have been great friends to me!! we laughed, joked, chat, doing crazy stuff esp with beat, elwin, janice and tommy!! haha.. guess we are the loudest CG!!!

oh ya.. elwin said that our cg is the most "STANDARD" wan! well.. meaning all of us are good-looking!! eh, not i perasan k? everyone agreed!! hahahaha.... love you guys!!
